3.2 Performance / Analytics (GA4)

Set only after opt-in. Examples (managed by Google Analytics):

• _ga (2 years) – distinguishes users
• _ga_* (2 years) – maintains session state
• _gid (24 hours) – distinguishes users
• _gat_gtag_* (1 minute) – throttles request rate

4. Google Consent Mode v2

We implement Consent Mode v2. By default, analytics_storage is denied until you opt in. After acceptance, we grant analytics consent; we do not use advertising cookies.

• Consent Banner: You’ll see a prompt on first visit to allow analytics. If declined, GA does not load.
